For this project, we were assigned a group and given the challenge to re-brand a major company. 3M was our assigned brand. We began the process for the re-brand by doing research and compiling history, products, and services as well as evaluating the current overall brand image.
We looked at 3M's brand and decided what problems we wanted to address picked up how we want to portray the new 3M.
We then layed out all of our data and looked at the new attributes and started building a new direction for the look and feel of 3M.
With the direction sorted out, it was time to begin working on the identity of the new 3M with a new logo and then building new assets to carry the brand to the customers.
Overall this project was a crazy experience. Being production manager of a team I hadn't fully worked with before, on a much tighter time frame than we're used to, really raised the stress level. Overall I'm decently proud of the work my team did in so little time. I would gladly work with any of them again.
